When cyclists with power meters reach out to me to help them improve their cycling performance I will often check the state of their Functional Threshold Power. Then set about to giving them progressive work on Threshold on VO2 Max. The progressions amount to either or more volume or more intervals and sometimes both. To work on FTP one must test to discover how they are progressing. Progress may come fast for some and for others it may take time.
Start building your FTP and become the fast cyclist you know you can be!
