I have been hearing from lots of cyclists that listen to the show that they just were no longer in the mood to train and or race. We have all been there and sometimes its OK to take a break and put the bike up until the mood returns.
So how do we know if the mood has left us?
- Making excuses either mentally or verbally
- Resting Heart Rate is 10 beats or higher than what is normal when waking for several days in a row
- When you would rather be working on other projects
- When everything cycling seems like a chore
So how do we regain the mood to get back to what we love, riding our bikes?
