The next time you are on that super long climb don’t forget to use more of your saddle. Try breaking up the climb in minutes and scoot to the very back of the saddle for a minute or more. Then move to the middle of the saddle and climb for a minute or more and finally move all the way to the nose of the saddle and climb for a minute or less. If your legs are starting to get bit sore then get out of the saddle for less than a minute at a time. More power is delivered on a climb when seated. By sitting on the various portions of your saddle you are using different muscle groups.
